Regional F.O. pay is pretty close to 99 Captain pay with alot better quality of life. Regional Capt in 18 months you are doing better than type rated Capt. Multiple guys getting hired at legacies with a couple hundred 121 TPIC. Type rated pay probably needs to be bumped, check out key limes rates!

Hello . The company website says you are home every night during the week . Could someone be kind enough to let me know on average or in reality, how much time you actually are at home ?
Thanks in advance .

I'm not there anymore, but I'm sure it's all the same still. It depends on what equipment you fly, base you're in, route you're assigned, etc. Care to shed some light on a specific location/equipment you're eying?

You could be home every night if on a scheduled run. Or, if you're outstation based, home every "day". Or on the charter side, gone for 5 days. Or sent out of base to help out somewhere and gone for 1-2 weeks. But yes, it is very possible to be home at night which is one reason why there are a few people there long term.

Thanks very much for the response . GEG , PDX and possibly PHX are the preferred domiciles . I am type rated in the SA227 so that would be first choice and EMB 120 a second choice. Otherwise , I would be more interested in getting the domicile as opposed to the airplane .
Thanks again .

This couldn't be more incorrect.

Not anymore, there’s no reason to go to AMF for experience. Envoy guarantees 12 days off a month and base compensation is 77k a year plus massive bonuses. And several others are matching that and it’s accelerating.

Be99 captain is 50k, others are around 70k, and you can make more but that’s extra work days than the 5 they promise. Plus I hear the CEO told the pilots they aren’t getting any pay raises even with other part 135 cargo ops outpacing them on the same equipment.

. . .
You do realize Envoy is currently not even looking at anyone without Part 121 time (Or part 135 time that satisfies 121.436)? So just saying “go to Envoy, make more money…” doesn’t really hold much weight if you can’t get an interview. So why not fill the interim with Part 135 TurboProp time while waiting?

Envoy was one example, PSA and Piedmont are offering the same and others aren’t far behind with the crunch hitting hard. And sure, if you want to build time at a part 135 turboprop place why not go to Alpine Air and make $15,000 more per year as a 99 pilot and $7k more as a 1900 pilot base salary. If you REALLY want a specific base then I guess flying the always broken poorly maintained poorly equipped never pressurizing metros for sub standard industry pay while single pilot might make sense.
