The chief pilots were promising a raise 5 years ago, every year for about 3, it never happened then they stopped talking about it.

Surprised? They never cared much about keeping the pilots they had, only bringing in fresh meat.

With the difficulties in finding "fresh meat" and the new ownership, there is talk even that may be changing.

Hey Ted, how long have those Ameriflight signs been on the DFW buildings? I just notices driving out last night.

I see on the route map that Ameriflight has a SDF-Smyrna-Huntsville-Knoxville run. Is this a route where the pilot(s) is based in one of the out stations and flies into SDF for the evening sit then flies back out the next morning, M-S? What aircraft serves this route and how long after training could one expect to get this assignment?

Thanks!

You're in town and didn't let me know? You bum.

We've been in the new building since last summer. The signs went up about that same time.

Yeah, I was in town for one night, a checkride and an airline out. No time to fool around. Next time.
