I've been doing a lot of looking into operators in Northern New England as well, as I would like to get back up there. In fact, next week I have an interview with Alpha Flying and a small operator in Downeast Maine. I would suggest to you to look into Twin Cities Air out of Lewiston. They have a flight school and a charter business, so it is possible that you could move up, especially if you did your comm & cfi with them. It doesn't look like they offer multi instruction, but then you could go and get that somewhere else. Often times those places will let you get "free" multi time by flying the dead-head legs (Part 91).

Also, have you looked into Daniel Webster College? They have an interesting flight curriculum, and I believe they have good pay. It could be an option to get the experience that you need to move up in the aviation world.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about only multi time right now, you need total time, quite honestly. Get your comm se out of the way, & cfi or do lighthouse tours next season out of Trenton (BHB). Hope that this helps.

Laconia operates an Aztec, I believe. I think they use it for charters or something. Emerson Aviation is the place. If you want to build just total time which you'll need to do anyway, may I suggest traffic spotting. You'll need to go to BED for that. I forget the name of the flight school that does it there but, you'll build time fast. I have seen people with PVT certs doing traffic but, they don't get paid I think.
P.S. Have you been flying with Don M out of SFM? HAHE he's a great guy.
