Default PBI, BCT jobs? 135 or corps operators.

I am about to put up a smile (I might have to drink a bit first in order to be able to achieve that) for the next few days and hand out the resume. What is worth hitting up in Palm Beach and in Boca? Those two would be a real short drive for me but eventually I will start working my way down South and look into FXE, FLL, and OPF places.

I am not real picky. I would be happy with:

Corporate right seat. I have no corporate types or time for the left.
135 prop...
Instructing... ouch... (I actually like instructing just sweatin' balls is not that attractive here in the hot season.)

So what is out there? I am on climbto and willfly but I have not seen a thing posted there for a while.

Thanks for the help!

I would suggest joining climbto350.com. There are a few corporate jobs listed on the East Coast of FL. That's your best bet. Good luck.

I am on both climbto and willfly but I don't see much on them. However I know there are plenty of operators.

Try this from NBAA

NBAA Products & Services

You can break operators down by state. Maybe there are some less known companies that don't advertise on those sites.

Too bad DayJet really hasn't panned out, that would've been in your backyard.

Hey thanks for the input! The website is a good source.

I was around today from PBI down to FXE and FLL. Not much out there. The slowdown has already happened.

Well, if worst comes to worst, and you need a flight instructing job, I would suggest Palm Beach Flight Training. (www.pbflight.com) About 75% of their fleet are 2000 or newer. (They have 20 planes total)

I believe the pay is now up around $29/hr. When I worked there it was $17/hour for primary, and $19/hour for advanced. Anything over 25 hours "billable" in a month was $3 overide for every hour over that. I was doing 100 hours of flight instruction, and 20 + hours of ground instruction per month. I brought home in between $2500-3000 every month. You work for it, but money is money. And if you need a job in a pinch to hold you over until you find a corporate gig, that's probably your best bet.

I know there is a school in Boca with newer planes as well. They are looking for a CP, and folks to instruct as well. Check them out as well at: www.flyskyblue.com/index.html

Good luck

Thanks man. I am not picky at all. I have handed my stuff in for skyblue and also the two schools at Lantana yesterday. I actually like instructing and I Lantana is 4 min from where I live. It would be fine with me until recall.
