Default Airnet Phone Interview

Hey everyone, Ive been a long time reader of these post and have got a lot of really good insight to the way things are in the freight world, so thanks to all of you. I just got a voice mail from Airnet asking me to call back in for a phone interview and I am wondering what all is going to be asked. Is it more HR type questions or regs and systems questions. Thanks again for all your help.

They will only ask about what you are doing now (flying job). They ask all hr questions. Call them back. It is a good company.

Hey thanks for the info. Called them back and got a interview date on the 20th. So I guess that means lots of studying and preping for the sim. If you have any suggestions that would be great. Thanks again for the help.

XCRunner would you mind sharing what your times look like?

Also i heard a while back that airnet was delaying their SIC program for a while, are you going in with 135 IFR requirements or less?

Good luck on the interview!

Hey Cargo Hopeful my times a fairly low. My total time is just under 500, 100+ multi, 100+IFR, 230+ 135cross country. I am flight instructing currently and am hoping to pick up 120hrs over the next couple of months. They said if I do get hired it will be into a pool until June or so. They are in need of people with 135 mins so that is one of the reasons for the pool. They still have their SIC program and the last I heard it was in the Barons. Hope this helps a bit.

I am going to send in an app as well this week. Looks like a good company. Is BWI the only close base to the DC area? Just trying to be able to stay at home if I were to get hired. Will they hire you in as a PIC? I have the 135 mins and wasn't sure how this works!
Thanks, Jason

SIC's - Baron
PIC's - Depends on base but either Baron, Navajo, Caravan and sometimes a combo of the 3 or even all 3 in some cases.
