Empire

Does anyone know anything about Empire? I see they have a Rapid City SD base just curiose about their ops, good, bad and the ugly?

Good from what I hear. Upgrades are 3000TT due to insurance requirements.

Not sure about the other details......

They are VERY strict about their minimums...it's all delegated by FedEx.

They are pretty full right now and have quite a few resumes coming in weekly.....from what I hear.

I know there is at least on ATR CA from Empire who comes on this board from time to time. He was hired last year as a street CA and is enjoying it so far. PM me and I will give you his info.

Does anybody know if Empire is hiring? Also, are their schedules the typical 5 on 2 off like all the other 135 cargo carriers?

Anybody have any updates on Empire. Are they strict on their 1000TT mins? I have about 710/130 with 75 turbine (part 121). Are they a good company to work for?

I tried talking to them a few months ago with similair times, and they said that they wont accept an application with under 1000TT, it's regulated by their 'customer' aka FedEx for the insurance requirements.

For what it's worth I spoke with one of their crews undergoing recurrent training at Flight Safety. The CA said they were hiring for the ATR. I also believe there was something on posted on the jobs board at wfff.com as well. I believe you must apply through their website.
