Default 135 Single Pilot / PIC

Does anyone know if one must meet the CP/DO requirements in order to start a Single Piot and/or Single PIC certificate?

Thanks!

No DO or CP is required for a Single Pilot or Single PIC operation.

Single Pilot is the easiest and quickest type operation to get going as it does not require a GOM or Training manual. You will need Letters of Compliance and some other "management" systems (You can PM me). If you go the Single PIC route you can use SICs. However, you may have to have a training manual. Some clients may want a SIC as it may be a condition of their life insurance or a company policy.

So, it seems that one could just have normal Part 135 Mins (1500TT, etc, etc) to start a single pilot operation. Of course insurance is an entire different story...

Thanks everyone, have a nice new year.
