Hi!
No. They are not recalling. They are flying that Falcon with NO full-time employees. In fact, they are now operating 10 aircraft (9 DC-9s and 1 DA-20) with only 8 full-time pilots. I think they are in severe danger of ceasing operations this spring.
Flying that Falcon illustrates the problems they are having with management vision and planning. They shut down the whole Falcon program in July, because mgmt said there was no way to make money with the Falcons, and they would never operate them again, as they were only a money drain on the operation.
NOW, they change their minds, and they say the Falcons are helping the company???

Hi.
I heard they have 1 plane contracted for MYB for 2 years. That's it for Direct Air. They have 1 on temporary contract for the Canadian military. So, after BBall season is over, they'll have 1 plane doing work, plus ???
MV (a contract guy now) was told they wouldn't pay for his groundschool/PC check due in Mar.
GW called me and asked me to turn in my stuff. He said they were shutting down all the out-of-town guys, and he told me good luck with my Kenya (hopefully) job.
Not looking good.

Sorry to hear about that, man. I really am. I knew a few people up there but they got out before the stuff hit the fan. It's hard to believe a few years ago Active was flying 9's and 20's all over the place. Hell, one of the 9's was even in We Are Marshall. Crazy world. Best of luck to ya.
