Default Nuclear Med/HazMat Question

Hey guys,Can anyone tell me if Nuclear Medicines such as Fludeoxygluclose ...etc are considered to be class 7 hazmat and require a 135 to have an approved Hazmat recognition and operations manual?Thanks.

The shipper is required to classify the items shipped. If they don't know, have them call the manufacturer. The class 7 items are graded by how "hot" they are. Everything is just "Radioactive material, ..."

You need to have the MSDS sheet before accepting the freight. Twin Wasp is absolutely right, it depends on how hot it is.
