I would also appreciate this information, please.

Default Question on Pay

I've seen the average first year captain pay listed at $79k and have seen numbers for FO at mid 40's.

My question is how much would you make without picking up extra flights, etc.

What is the pay for a first year capt with no extra flights, just the basic scheduled flights?

Approximately how many extra days would you have to fly to make the $79k?

Thanks!

If it matters, I'm hoping to get based in the midwest.

I read in an earlier post (posted years back) that no pilots were based in STL, all Midwest pilots were outstation based. Are there STL based pilots today?

I would actually prefer an outstation base.

No, there aren’t any pilots based in STL itself.

Are pilots based out of HPN or is it an out station?

Outstation. The pilots that fly there are typically either Cape based (HYA) or LEB.

What are the chances of being based in one of the two?
Are they junior or senior bases?
And is it difficult to commute to there? I live so close to HPN, that's why I ask.

Both senior, captain wise. There are ways of making commuting work, but no guarantees...

Anyone know what the odds are of bidding for and receiving Albany, White Plains, Saranac, or Ogdensburg for a new FO?
