Exclamation Key Lime Air - First Officer Program

The FAA investigates Key Lime Air (2009)!

The FAA has determined that the SIC pilots that participate in Key Lime's FO program cannot log the flight time. The First Officer program offered by Key Lime Air is not valid for the logging flight time. Key Lime Air has claimed the time is loggable. Key Lime Air has claimed the First Officer Program includes legally loggable SIC time. See FAA records, contact the Denver FDSO, Key Lime's POI, Colorado court records to verify any of the above statements.

Beware of Key Lime Air - Certificate No.: KY7A882H. Before you spend as much as $34,000.00 (http://www.keylimeair.com/Rates.asp) for Key Limes FO time building program, do your research and save yourself a headache. The flight time is NOT logable (FAR 61.51(f)).

The information in the statement above can be validated by contacting the POI for Key Lime Air at the Denver FDSO or Scott Morris (FAA Regional Counsel - Seattle @ 425-227-2161).

Also see 14CFR part 61.51(f) regarding logging of flight time.
