New England Airlines

Anyone know any info on New England Airlines, the small charter operation based in Westerly RI? All I know is the fleet type and the scheduled service they have to Block Island, but I am wondering if anybody has info on pilot pay, schedule, if they are hiring, etc...? Just curious...

Don't they only have like 2 airplanes and 2 destinations?

I knew a guy who used to fly for them, he's since flown west, but he owned his own plane, had a decent home, three kids, etc. They don't have much scheduled service but they do a lot of charter flights to make up for it. Wish I had more salary/QOL info for you but that's all I've got.

Think they have an Islander and a Cherokee Six, do out and backs to Block Island from Westerly and occasional charters. Saw their Islander once in New Bedford last summer, looks like a pretty fun plane to fly. Other than that I don't know a thing.

Block Island is a neat place.

You have to be careful there in the summer as a lot of "cougars" are roaming on the island.
