I too would like to know why you say this.

Never worked there, but I do know they lost a few accounts in recent months and laid off several pilots. Most recently last month. Struggling to hold onto what they have at this time.

I have an acquaintance based at PTK. He says corporate aviation on the field is very depressed. Nobody hiring that he knows of and most guys/gals are happy to have what they have, good or bad.

PTK is in Waterford, not Pontiac. Waterford is nice. Lots of lakes around and lots of expensive houses on said lakes.

Yeah, my guess the line service guys and girls who were comparing their gunshot wounds don't live in those "expensive houses". LOL:D Also I realize where PTK is I used to spend alot of time there. Even the nice parts aren't all that nice and by the condition of the Michigan economy I imagine those "expensive houses" aren't all that expensive anymore.

First, quit complaining about people calling PTK - Pontiac instead of "Waterford". TOL is not base in Toledo, it's in Swanton...do people call it Swanton? No, they call it Toledo.

2nd, Pentastar was hiring last month for a licensed dispatcher and I know two other operations (Corporate Flight Departments) that are going to be hiring within the next two months.

pilots r looking for flying jobs not dispatch positions, but in this economy in MI any job is a good job. yes they do have furloughed pilots. No CL601 in VNY.
