Bering has two bases, Kotz and Nome. From what I understand, the Nome base is essentially a full-time base, rather than how most carriers work out there.
Kotz, on the other hand, is more like the rest of the carriers. Pilots have the option of 15 on/off with no vacation accrual, or 20 on 10 off, with vacation accrual. I forget what the rate was, but it was higher than Hageland's caravan pilots before the big raises were announced. Not sure if they've made any changes since.
From my discussions with the chief 6-7 months ago, they try to dual qual all of their pilots in the van and the navajos, so they want pilots to have an ATP and a fair amount of AK time. I had a year and a half of AK time when I spoke with him, and from what I understood that's about the minimum they are looking for, and they preferred IFR AK time.
They're in CASS, and I don't remember the specifics of their benefits package but I remember that it was fine.
They seem to be a great carrier. If I ever end up going back to AK to fly the line, I'll probably only go if it's with them.

Seems unlikely they would change their schedule, pretty standard for bush 135s.

For PIC positions, Bering offers 20/10 schedules, or 15/15 but with no vacation accrual.
