I have been told that the pay is $50.00/Hr based on the Hobbs meter. You get $25.00/Hr up to a maximum of $100.00 for "sitting time" and no per diem or other expenses. The initial training can be done in GMU or in your assigned domicile and I asked if the prospective pilot is paid during training and was told "I'll have to ask corporate if they have worked that out yet".

I was told that you do get a company credit card to buy fuel and a lunch if you're sitting around the ol' FBO with nothing to do. Same response...."I'll have to ask corporate about hotel expenses and if we buy lunch".

Sounds like a really well thought out operation and the OpenAir person who gave me the information didn't know about the liability insurance they carried.

I'm not the smartest guy in town but I've been in the business for a l-o-n-g time and wouldn't even waste my time filing out an application. For my two cents, the greeter position at Walmart provides better pay and benefits.

G'Luck with that one Hrdlndg.:)
