Update 12/16/2010:

Two American pilots remain jailed in the Dominican Republic after yet another hearing was canceled Thursday, though the investigating agency has reportedly supported their claims of innocence.

“Both sides have stated, not in writing, that these two pilots are innocent,”

Today’s hearing was delayed because representatives of the U.S. Embassy were unable to attend, said Bill Broydrick, spokesman for Milwaukee-based Air Cargo Carriers, which employs the pilots. The hearing was rescheduled for Monday.

The pilots still remain behind bars.

If they're innocent they should return to duty after a little rest.

Write to your Congressman, AOPA and anybody else. Sad truth of it sounds something like this...

"Today’s hearing was delayed because representatives of the U.S. Embassy were unable to attend."

Where? GOOD NEWS! Hopefully, the never go back! And hopefully their company gives them some kind of bonus for all the extra crap they went through. Like a few months off paid or soemthing.

Edit to add: Never mind, I found a Yahoo news article on it.

Hopefully ACC sticks to their word of no more flying to DR. I would run as fast as they'd let me out of that place! Good luck to them both
