I sent you a PM. I just interviewed 2 weeks ago. |

A) Waiting for a desired gig to call, AND/OR B) Fighting to make the place better so that it's reasonable to stay. |

Pay may vary 5-10 grand, but it's the same thing. Gama, TMC, Jetsuite, Exclusive, whatever. 12-14 hours duty Why am I in a Holiday Inn Express when there's a Hilton Garden Inn across the street for $5 more. Why am I in a middle seat that connects going home at 6pm after working for 12+hours. 4 hours of duty left and they want you to do a 3 hour drive to Y from your broken plane in X.... On and on. They all do the same BS. |

If you go back it's 3-4 years of acting like it's a dumpster fire. Nothing better has come around in that time frame?

Newhires enable the continuation of what you are describing above in this kind of a pilot market. Attrition and the struggle to recruit new pilots have the potential to drive improvements in the organization's work rules and policies.
Don't believe me? Why did TMC start offering an 8/6 schedule again? I'm just trying to understand multiple post over YEARS about how awful an organization is - yet the individual doesn't vote with their feet and stays. I'm not personally attacking anyone. No one take it that way. Is it true you can't have a beer? WTF? That's a unique TMC issue. |
