Still hiring I think...not a whole lot of news other than that. They don't really publicize much internally so it's always speculation on the pilot end of things. We typically have several pilots per month leave for bigger & better mostly. What we do know for sure is that internal recommendations are valued highly, anything else is a guess

There are certain time requirements that I don't recall off hand. Around a year in both the Beechjet and Hawker.

From what I hear about this place, it is a short term job for most folks. Didn't they take away vacation from the Pilot group? I hear 14 hour days are pretty common and they push rest rules to the limit. Be careful.

Not sure about the 800's, but on the Beechjet the 14 hour day is pretty rare. I can probably count on 2 hands how many I've had over the past year. They may have had vacation time a while back when they still had the 8-6 schedule, but I don't know. Everyone is on a 15-13 schedule now and we don't get vacation time. Oh and yes, it is short term for a lot of people. 15 days is a long time to be away from home.

Are the days that you travel to your point of departure part of the 13 days off, or included in the 15 days on? I would imagine it's part of the 15 and they try to put you on a plane close to home. Seems like a decent place with a quick upgrade.

My buddy works at TMC, it's decent for the first couple of months until you realize how abuse is an SOP for them. Go elsewhere, you'll be glad you did.

Anyone know how long it typically takes to hear something after applying? I sent in my resume in early January, and within a day or two got an email asking for an updated resume and a written application form to fill out. I submitted all of that, but haven't heard anything since - not even a TBNT. Just wondering if this is typical?

I don't know where all this focus on negativity comes from on this forum. There are definitely some negative aspects, yes, but for the most part it's an alright place to work for now. Any job is going to be less than enjoyable from time to time.

That seems like a long time for no response. I think it's usually about a week, but you might want want to follow up with it.
