However, if you're a former 134.5/91 pilot who has shuffled back and forth between scumbag operators who use you like a factory worker, then this is the job for you. If you think that 15 days on the road with no vacation and only 2 sick days per year is acceptable, then welcome aboard. If you're the type of pilot that just loves to fly airplanes and aren't concerned with how much you're paid, this is the place for you. If you enjoy carrying broken airplane parts all over the country for days until you reach an acceptable maintenance facility, please apply inside. If you are this type of pilot, and you have swallowed so much Kool-aid over the years that you know no other flavor, then by all means come to TMC because you are exactly the low-life they are looking for.
By the way, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. Just beware, your days are numbered.

At least we got another insulting update from mgmt today! We had a slow month, we're paying you less than we did before we took away your salary, you have no vacation, you'll get no raise, now go out and and make it the best October ever!

You are in luck: many airlines and 135 operators are hiring these days. People have choices unlike in the past.

Exactly. That's why probably 8 out of 10 people you talk to have irons in the fire, or at least a plan B. Not that you really need a plan B these days with all of the hiring. It's nice to know that you just don't have to "take it and like it" anymore.

There are still plenty of people hanging on to this idea that TMC is a career destination. 8:10 is probably pretty accurate.

I haven't been following them for a while but have TMC gone downhill a lot since this winter/spring? I was looking at them earlier this year and didn't think it was that bad of an option but did not pursue it for different reasons.
