Yes, drastic. Rolling rest, management intimidation, no representation, no voice, "if you dont like it, I have a stack of resumes this high", etc. The highly polished management team screaming, cussing, slamming doors in the office while they were throwing their juvenile tantrums. It was always entertaining to call in your times and hear one of them in the background having an absolute freakout meltdown. Did you miss that part? They would still be pushing guys around if they could get away with it.

Default Scheduled interview with TMC...

Had pilot interview scheduled with TMC. Provided all the necessary info for airline transportation. Date was fast approaching with no airline ticket info. No word from TMC. Will not answer e-mails, etc. Guess it's best not even to follow up. Must be crazy there for whoever is left. Interview date has come & gone. Suspect this is a very good thing for me from listening to all the pilots on this thread.

So, I get a crew meal a bit easier, yes. That's about all i see. We are so short on pilots, that the rest of us have to make up the difference. Maybe no rolling rest, but I'm no less tired everyday than I was before. I also have no better ability to pay my mortgage. They give the FOs two pay raises within the last year, but nothing for the Captains. An 8/6 new hire FO, makes just less than a 15/13 captain no matter how long they've been here. Be a 220 %r if you want, but there is a reason that our attrition rate has not slowed down, even with the DRASTIC improvements you mention.

B727, if you just need something to finish out a career, maybe, just maybe, this would fit the bill. But there are a lot of other 135 operators out there that are hiring that if age is the case, won't be an issue.

Pick up the phone and dial 574-264-5083. Ask for Phil. I'm sure he would be happy to blow some smoke up your @$$ about why they decided not to interview you.
The way I look at it, the universe stepped in and did you a huge solid. You must have some great karma.

Instead of complaining about chopping too much, why dont you look into one of the many airline carriers that are hiring that pay substantially more for working a lot less.

Doesn't have to be a major... A regional pilot, regardless of seat, makes more than TMC.
