Hey I know most people on here are pointing out the negatives. But I'm in a spot that might make more sense then a guy with the experience to go elsewhere.
I'm 25 and currently finishing up a season of survey. Really don't want to do it again mainly since the pay is so low. Live in Florida but could relocate if needs. Just saw that tmc mins are 1000tt which I should be very close to by the end of June. Would this be a decent stepping stone for either a better charter gig or maybe side step to the airlines? Does anyone also know what kind of training contract they hold you in for? Thanks for the help, and if anyone knows other places hiring around 1000tt I would really appreciate it.

TMC is a paycheck and a timebuilder. You will earn it and then you will want to leave. But you can live anywhere and the schedule isn't bad. You'll also meet and make valuable connections with some great pilots.

The paycheck (as small as it may be, compared to the rest of the industry), I buy. The time builder, I don't. TMC's minimum requirements are higher than most regional airlines. When a guy can start flying for a regional and make more money, they don't need TMC for a time builder. Trying to sell it as such is misleading, and you should stop.

"Never in the history of business aviation was so much owed by so few to so many."
