Here are the Cliffs Notes:
QOL: Poor
Pay: Poor
Schedules: 15 on 13 off (unless you're senior and get to bid the weekly schedule)
People aren't knocking the door down to work there. Figure it out that this is an extremely substandard job and operation. If you're low time and want to make a go of it, do it.
Just don't expect it to be anything more than it is.

So the 8/6 is only offered to senior pilots? I thought you could choose.....
What makes QOL poor? It's an honest question. You are home based. They fly you to the airplane, you are "on call" taxi service for a week, then they fly you home. Compared to a 121 regional, I am trying to understand what makes it "suck" so much.
The pay seems ok......more money is ALWAYS better, but I am just confused about the QOL issue.

Why does QOL suck? Picture this....long 15 day rotation and your plane broke everyday, which it will. You just drove 5 hrs to get a new plane on your last day of rotation not bad right? You might even get a personal call to tell ya atta boy. Then you’re all giddy inside about going to see your family but wait there’s more. You now have to stay on another day to do a long haul to recover another broken plane going the opposite direction of home... then you’ll get crappy hotel and a nice spirit airline ticket home with another atta boy and maybe a steak dinner. Welcome to the #team

I don't work at TMC but if you think being an "on call taxi service" is better than being on a real schedule you're going to be in for a rude awakening. At my last 135/91k gig this usually meant 14 hour duty days with between 5-7 legs a day, and your day will often change halfway through.
And that airline ticket to and from wherever you're going, enjoy the cheapest ticket possible (middle seat in economy with tight connections).

Apply if you're desperate for time & a small paycheck while you look for better. IDC if you've got the worst pilot credentials in the world, you deserve better than what TMC offers. Unfortunately, there are thousands of pilots out there who undervalue themselves and let companies take advantage of them. Sets all of us back. Wherever you go, please take your balls with you.
