TMC- Travel Management Company
69JimSpencer69 is not Jim Spencer. It is likely someone in management. I happen to know Jim Spencer's real handle on this forum.
Micropenis's post also seems like another management post trying to bait people on this forum into an illegal work action discussion.
Both exhibit very amateur behavior, which tells me that it's still the same old management style we've all seen.

Has the Union made any improvements there?
Hey TMC folks,
I always see and have heard on the road a lot of bad stuff about TMC and it's management, as far back as 2008 or 2009 when I ran into a sad TMC crew that had just gotten an email that said that their schedule had just switched to 15 days on, from 8, and that nobody was going home for another week. That is why I was so excited to see the Union get certified there. After all, no company gets a union that does not deserve a union.
With all the bad I hear I wonder if the Union has had any effect on safety, legality, pay, QOL, etc. So, has the union made any inroads into improving your lot there? I know how tough it is to negotiate with an intransigent or even suicidal management. If not, I certainly wouldn't blame the Union with everything I've heard about that management team.
It is so much easier to go to a place like Netjets, whose pilots have already stormed the shore over a decade ago to make things better for the pilots in the waves behind them. It is tough to be the first wave, but it's nice to know that you left the place, and the industry, better than you found it.
Good luck with your fight!

I'm not lining up to defend our management for anything, but my gut tells me it's a rank-and-file guy stirring the pot out of jaded boredom.
I just don't see one of the management guys in the office actually have the reason or gall to use an active pilot's 4-letter ID to insult said pilot's manhood in such a random post.
I understand others will disagree.
