Amazing isnt it? Not what you know..who you know. I did get a response at least...that I didn't meet the qualifications. I'll hang at Ameriflight and get some 99 time and hopefully that is close enough to King Air time for them!

I thought all the pilots are sent through an initial type rating training after employment. I assume a pilot with 5000-6000 hours including jet time could figure out how to fly a turboprop, isn't that what training is all about.

I didn't have quite that much time but I figured it out with some help from an experienced King Air pilot as my sim partner

Not anymore.

Did the Dynamic interview 3 weeks ago, I was not offered the job. Got a response from L3 for a phone interview. Does anyone have any info they could pass along since the long old thread was deleted. Thank you in advance.

The truth of the matter is any idiot can fly a King Air. They're wanting to know that you are familiar with tactical operations and can operate in a stack. So if you're an old fighter guy you'll probably be fine. If you're an airlift or tanker guy probably not unless you catch a hiring binge.

There's a lot of guys working for the company coming from an Army C-12 background, so it's kind of a good ol boy's club. It isn't as bad as it used to be, but 50% of my hiring class came from that community

If you had to choose between Avenge and Dynamic, which would you choose?

Anyone think I'm competitive?

2250 TT
500 Turbine FW (modified PC-12 for special operations ISR... commanded unit...experienced in stack operations)
1700 helicopter (most of it in special operations platform)

I'll get my ATP with multi-engine add on end of this month.

Thanks!
