If they aren't looking for the same level of past military experience then I could understand a more flexible pay scale and if they are more open to OJT for those without the prior experience.
I'm surprised at the number of hours they are saying as an average though. That seems to be a bunch for that type of flying, but I didn't even work with them (not for them - but with them) for a full year so I can't say I ever had the opportunity to ask some of the more detailed questions about average weekly/monthly/yearly flying time.
In my job which was similar, but not exact, it was an hourly wage for a minimum pay per year (which figured out to about 200 hours) and then the hourly wage on top of that after the minimum number of hours.
I would have entertained the job as a SIC for the new quoted pay as a flying position to keep me current while I looked for another job; but for someone looking at it for a longer term job should expect an upgrade to PIC with a healthy increase in pay for the job/type of flying required imo.

Hello all. I am looking for some current information on Avenge. From the company website it says the rotations are 60 on / 60 off. But on some pilot employment websites I have seen ads for Avenge that state 80 on / 40 off. Anyone know which of these numbers is accurate? Also I have been hearing rumors that they have changed the pay for new hires, anyone know if that is correct? What are they currently offering new hires?
Thanks.
Thanks.
