Sounds like management talk right there. People here are more than dedicated to the mission and there is little doubt we are.
Most companies that I have seen that require a TA are ones that have a high attrition rate for one reason or another..and 75% of the time, its not for good reasons.

Open ended employment agreements can be very difficult to enforce, turnover among war zone contractors is always pretty high.

My understanding is that it is a very one-sided commitment. The one year commitment requires that you give them at least 180 days deployed in one year without requiring them to deploy you at all. They could not have enough work for you and you're still on the hook until the end of your commitment. They will not tell you how much you're on the hook for either. Other training agreements generally have a set amount and let you off the hook if you're not actually working (furloughed).
How long do Avenge's contracts run for? I'd be worried about applying there, signing up for the one year commitment, and not getting my 180 days of work.
