Company name?
I feel like a total dips--t but...I cant think of the name of a company...I think theyre out of Peachtree-Dekalb. Somewhere in Georgia. They fly Lears and I believe gulfstream 1's...they do alot of air ambulance and military contract work as well as flight instruction. This ring a bell to anyone?

I've worked with Phoenix Air some time back (the G-1s and Lears).
I didn't know they did air ambulance and flight training.
Are you going to apply again?

They operate "flight training" via the FBO on the field. With regards to other aspects of their company, they are broad. DoD contracts, etc. It is more than just a typical 135 charter operator, towing drones over the pacific comes to mind....

I applied when I was furloughed back in 2008. Very low time yet the CP still took time out of his day to call me up, told me a little about the company, told me to get more time and apply again. Seemed like a real stand up guy. I'll certainly apply again if/when I get furloughed again. Looks like the type of job you'd never get bored at.

And you'll do some flying that you wouldn't get the chance of doing - like formation flying, low and fast profiles, manevering to set up different presentations for the fighters or ships, etc....
Here is the home link for anyone else interested.

I didn't know they were such a diverse company with a variety of aircraft.
At the time I thought they were a small subcontractor to L-3 International actually.
