I can't comment about how things are going for Surf, I'm sure everyone knows how to Google ;)

Any news on first officer hiring? Or if Surf is even still flying. Haven't seen them in San Diego in a while.

Surf doesn't own/operate any planes, and they are pretty much bankrupt. Their fleet has been grounded in TX because they can't pay for their fuel any more.
It's game over for them.

Lots of PC12s parked at HHR. Did see one flying a few weeks ago though.

They have two flying in California and 6 or 7 grounded. And their whole fleet in TX is grounded.

Most of those in HHR are at Hawthorne Hangar Operation and are being operated by Encompass Aviation as they have not returned them to Surf Air. From what I saw last, Advanced currently has three of their aircraft with two currently flying (not sure if the third one has started flying yet).

Heard that SurfAir lost their certificate. Add in CA Pacific Air in Carlsbad...sounds like bad news for Moxi succeeding. Who knows.

They haven't had a certificate for a while, and they stopped paying most of their partners a while ago, and are now using ad hoc 135 companies to patch through their "schedule".

Surf Air is a scam.

Surf Air is done. Their fleet is parked at HHR and Advanced Air does all their flying.

If you read post #1 and #2 you could tack them on to the latest.
