Ultimate Jetcharters info?

Does anyone have information about Ultimate Jetcharters in KCAK? Like pay, scheduals, are the pilots home based, general QOL stuff would be great.
Thanks

I've got a buddy working for them... I'll ask him. From what I gather they can basically live just about anywhere (according to him) as long as they can make it to where they are supposed to be by the time duty starts. I can't remark on pay but I would guess somewhere around $24 to $30 G's for FO's. It's 135, so you can expect the usual delays and sitting around FBO's that waiting on the customer can entail. I just started a 91 King Air gig and I wasn't expecting the delays at all. Its not the worst thing in the world but it does get annoying having your customer cancel last minute, then call right back and your back on... then push back the departure 3 times. But thats charter.

I can't speak to Ultimate Jet, but I worked for a competitor 5 years ago. My company went bankrupt and is no longer around. The last post mentions delays and I have to disagree with my experience. I am finally flying private again and while I have lots of delays now, I did not while flying the Dornier. 30 passenger charter is nothing like flying a King Air or Citation. We flew a lot of sports teams (Nascar, NCAA, etc.) and they generally know their schedule pretty well in advance. For us, once something was on the schedule, it was probably going to happen and was probably going to be pretty close to on time.

All that said, the DJET is a great plane. It is slow at cruise, but the first time you see 7000 ft per minute in a climb, you won't care anymore. If you can get on with Ultimate (or any other operator), you will love the plane.

Digging this thread up. Can anyone provide more info, specifically hiring times in the last. Looking at this as a possible place to go next year perhaps.
Thanks

Thread bump. Does anybody know if/when they are hiring and overall QOL?? I have read that they are home based which is a huge plus in my book. Thanks!!

I'm curious also. They seem to have a lot going on in Cincinnati. What's the schedule and pay like?

Shot in the dark, but I'd like to bump this thread and see if there's any more recent information. Came across an ad on the orange site from these guys recently and tossed my hat in the ring.

Live pretty much where you want 8/6 schedule 45000.00 a year for FO... non prorated training contract for a jet no one really flies anymore.

Anything new on these guys? Are they expanding with the Embraers, or just replacing? I just put in an application, but was wondering what people think that have been working there for a few years. I would be taking about a $60k pay cut the first year.

Haven't heard about the Embraers. Why would you ever want to take a $60K paycut to fly an ERJ???? What do you find so appealing about them to make that kind of jump? Are you from the LUK area?

Dorkjet looks sorta fun to fly - really nice takeoff capability. But I wouldn't take a $60K paycut in this pilot-shortage market to fly it...
