If I was a betting man I would put money on that and I can guarantee this thread will get bumped back up with "anyone with current working conditions and pay" post. Unfortunately the worst thing for pilot working conditions are pilots.

I would love to see one the shorted pilots to go into JS'soffice with a personal note for him to sign. If memory serves I think At least the bookkeeper has a notary.

Two Challangers sold. 5 managed planes going back to their owners. About 16 pilots with no seat. Approximately 180 pilots on the list. But seniority does not matter. If your plane goes away, so may your job.

FWIW, it wasn't just the DPJ pilots that weren't paid, it was all DPJ employees, and DPJ doesn't even handle their own payroll... it's outsourced to Comair.

From what I understand, the issue was with the hacking attempt in the Middle East on major banks, which caused PNC bank (who funds the paychecks) to lock up the system until the attacks were finished, at which times the funds were disbursed.

If your payroll is outsourced to Comair, beware! This could be the reason Comair will continue to operate, not fly, until the end of December. That is also the deadline for DL to surrender the Comair operating certificate to the FAA.

All of HR is done through Comair. This will be changing as Comair HR ends. The new insurance(UHC) was sent out at 5pm on Friday. The phrase 'modest increase' has been defined. Pay more for less.

@kman, do you work for DPJ? Most of your info is partially correct. You sound very bitter... What's your deal? Curious to know why you have these feelings and what went wrong? As for the challengers they are not sold. They haven't even gone to pre buy. They only have a letter of interest. The other pilots will get reassigned and probably another type while sitting at home getting paid. The Lear 60 was sold.

The crew we spoke to was taking their Challenger to ISO for the last time. They said both 'DA' Challengers were sold and their future uncertain. As for sitting home and getting paid. Unless you are single and living with mommy and daddy, sadly, it does not pay the bills. Hopefully better days are in the future. Was that too bitter for ya?

Your not gonna get rich sitting at home. I don't know anyone here who lives at home with their parents. It pays more than the regionals. The future is uncertain... Who knows what's going to happen next week. We are paid a salary so if at home it doesn't matter. I for one am not a person who does count per diem as "pay" like some other pilots I know. I know as a group there are people trying to make major improvements here.
