SAE must surely recognize all this ? The EAS biz is not where you want to be right now. Hopefully, they expand into profit routes soon.
Think about changing their uniforms...Aloha !

They say cass at the end of the month, and some are and are not, depending where you are based.

No Cass as of Yet.

Sign a pro rated over 1 year $8000 contract.

Can someone verify?

Taken from the DOT website: "When selecting carriers to provide EAS, the Department generally establishes two-year contracts, however, four-year contracts are increasingly common. This allows for the competitive bidding process to keep subsidy costs in check and to give communities and the Department opportunities to switch air carriers if appropriate. Four-year contracts, proposed by a carrier that has a history of providing reliable EAS at a community and supported by that community provide more certainty for communities and carriers, as well as provide more stability for annual subsidy costs for the Department. By design, the contracts for carriers to provide EAS across the nation expire on a staggered basis throughout the year. "

So the expansion started late last year with new routes and renewal of present routes, it would seem logical they would be in effect for at least 2 years from that point.

Any updated info on Southern? Schedule, monthly hours, junior base? I have a phone interview tomorrow too, so if anyone has info on what that's like it would be great to hear.

Thanks
