I will reiterate what I wrote back in September, is that you don't go there for the F/O pay ($12 flt hr for 6 mo then $18). You are ONLY there to built flight time and to take the scheduling abuse. Just have a good amount in your savings, about a years worth to live off of.

An APC member, SIC at southern, told me he gets 2 checks a month, around $650-700 each.
If they didn't need F/O, and they named the job as "Trainee" or internship, then I would understand (kinda) the conditions. BUT you're saying they need F/O by law or EAS regulations.....that's a different story.
So in my opinion there's no way you can justify those wages. They make a sh*** load of money with these EAS routes. Instead of "so much" growth and flows to "Mesa" (seriously), they could try adding some quality of life to their crews. Happy employees....prosperous business.
