Thanks
Looks like they will be starting up in the North East initially. Smart people with lots of cash backing it. I think it will be a big player.

Good time to get in the race with Avantair bowing out.

Wonder what they are going to pay their drivers?

15,000 lb MTOW, type rating required? Also 1 or 2 pilot crew?

Over 12,500 so yes. I think it will have 2 pilots for passenger satisfaction and insurance.

Yea, I think 2 pilots are required for part 91k but not necessarily for part 135. If that's the case, the guy in the right seat can't log the time?
Depends on their ops specs I guess.

105 airframes, I'm thinking around 500 pilots? It will be interesting to see what they have to offer.

Cool plane but not the fastest bird in the sky. Makes you wonder if the reduced hourly cost compared to say, a Citation is worth it considering a trip will take more time.

Guys in the Avantair P-180 logged SIC time in the right seat. Same should be true with the King 350 flying 135 or 91K. I bet both pilots will be typed too-

I agree and you bring up a great point, however, I'd like to offer for your consideration the versatility added for the client despite the lower speed. I currently fly a Pro-Line 21 KA-350, and I can put 8 pax, 2 pilots, 300 pounds of bags, enough gas to go 2.5-3.0 hours and still be "in" on the numbers easily. This airplane has so much useful load it's just amazing.

Additionally, even when it's heavy, the short field and hot/high capability of the aircraft can rival most jets.

With roughly 500 hours in the 350, I'm so proud of the airplane, and it's NEVER given me any trouble at all. She's a dream.

Wishing y'all a great night.

In addition, pax like the cabin of the 350 a lot better than the CJ series aircraft. On a flight 2 hours long, the time difference doesn't really mean a whole lot.

The Pro Line 21 system is sweet. The P-180 is nearly 80kts faster and a little more roomy than the 350, but I think the KA has alot more flexability and not as maintenace intensive as the P-180. I hope this new Frac operation works out, and treats their pilots as well as their customers. Time will tell of course-
