Does that mean they will displace pilots to PHX or do they hire locally for their new bases?

That has not happened, nor have I heard plans of that. We did temporary short assignments (short as maybe 2 weeks, though some volunteered longer) utilizing FXE pilots during the initial opening of that base while the initial 2 PHX based pilots were hired and trained. I believe the job ads list the base hiring for.

Thx mountains, one last one... I hear they fly mostly on the back side of the clock, is this still the case? How many days a week do you usually fly?

Are you on call for 24hrs straight or do they have shifts to rotate the crews?

Thanks again for the info!

No problem on the info. Best to contact them on the schedule, pay, benefits. But yes, an amount of back side of the clock. On average, I would not say mostly on the backside, a wild guess would be 20%. It does seem to go in spurts though, so could feel like more, maybe it is a little more. My logbook has been about 40-50% night flying per year, from what I remember, of course some on the backside. I have not done the math on this either, but maybe 17 flights per month on the high side and as little as 5-7 per month on the low side. I think some have flown as little as 20 something hours per month in the last month or two. Just depends on what trips you get, some might have done 50+. Getting a Europe or South America trip will generally get you more hours. Winter/spring is busier. In other words, what your actual experience is will vary month to month, and to a lesser extent year to year.

I am curious about REVA in the area of operations. Do the Pilots do their own Flight Planning or Do you have a Dispatch Office? I noticed you have several bases with only 8 aircraft is there one in each base? How many trips do you do Internationally?

Thanks,
CaptainRJ

Most flights are international. FXE base has most of the airplanes. We do our own flight planning, but it is pretty easy with the computer. Most everything else is set up, fuel, handlers, customs.

Does Reva have a contract with AASI/AMR? I ran into a lear crew in HNL a couple months ago. They said they were based in Florida but doing TDY somewhere on the west coast. I completely didn't bother to ask who they worked for

That was not a Reva crew.
