Default Low-Timers Welcome! Star Marianas Air

Star Marianas Air is hiring pilots to fly Cessna 172s in Saipan and Tinian. It's the perfect job for anyone that has low time and wants to have an awesome and unique opportunity to live in the Northern Marianas Islands. CFIs and College Grads preferred, but the company isn't picky. Take home pay is about 1900 a month. You will be able to average anywhere between 60-100 hours in a month. 1 year contract but I have seen people leave with less than that. At 500 hours total time, you can upgrade to Captain in the Cherokee 6 PA32.

If you value your life and some semblance of a moral employer stay away at all costs.

They will hire under 500 hours. I was hired by them with under 300 hours. Fly part 91 "discovery flights" around the two islands until you reach 500. Theoretically, you then go through 135 training and start as captain on the cherokee 6 (yes, you my friend, will be wearing 4 stripes in a cherokee 6). As time goes on you have opportunities in the Navajo. Heard rumors they are trying to get 1900's to compete with Cape Air going to Guam and back.

Overall though, it's a very laid back environment. You do a lot of flying, but that's the point.

Skyhawk, sent you PM. Thanks for info. I don't mind flying there. I find it a really great and different experience. Plus telling me I'll be flying alot is added music to my ears.
