It's bush operations, you have to do your homework. Know as well that things change from year to year. Good question about maintenance, and the NTSB reports are a good place to reference, as well as adn.com for stories and such. Pay checks for many bush 135 ops can be, um, sporty. Best not to sit on the paycheck too long before hitting the bank. Direct deposit is best. Good luck, and don't assume anything. Always verify.
Those kinds of jobs aren't for everyone. It's something I spent many years doing, from Ketchikan to Barrow and wouldn't trade it for anything. Good thing, I guess. Here it is years later, and I may have to go north to escape a crappy job market down south!

The bush ops I've been involved with have, however, never bounced a check, and a recent history of that happening is enough for me to say no without looking any further.
I know Yute and Everts are both hiring in the near term. RAVN (or whatever they're calling themselves this week) is hiring as well, as is ACE.

They had a post on one of the job boards about a week ago, so might have been a leftover. They're known to hire in spurts though. Someone closer to ANC will need to give a definitive answer.
