Airnet basing

ANyone have any info on airnet's willingness to hire into a specific base? The site says they will do it on a case by case basis. Would like the job but am not able to move right now.

Well, when I interviewed with them, this was about 1.5 yrs ago, Craig Washka wasn't very keen on the whole thing. Pretty much put you where there's space, and first dibs to those to are top in their ground school class, which could be 7-10 ppl if I understood correctly. There could be something to the contrary, but I really doubt it.

There was some talk about hiring directly into certain bases a while ago. I do believe this effort has quietly died.

Right now you get what is available when you are done with initial training

I got a college buddy going through right now, I'll let you know if I hear anything about that

Never met so many arrogant pilots in one place starting with Air Force Academy drop out (Kicked Out) Washka. You do get to master bad wx IFR though! I'd wait, build time and get a regional flying gig before I did the AirNet thing.

I'm sorry to hear you feel that way!

Personally I don't have any regrets and I look forward to go to work every day.
