Just finished the face to face with the chief pilot. Questions were laid out just like Mach Tuck said earlier. Extremely laid back and a nice experience. I still don't know the outcome but it is really low threat.

$60K for a Captain? Well below Pro Pilot's numbers for 2014. There's gotto be better deals around than that??

A new compensation package has been sent up for approval. They anticipate an answer within a month. We'll see.

Well, my buddy was offered a video interview for this past week and he got an email indicating that it was canceled. They didn't provide him with any reason at all. Sounds like an interesting way to run an HR department. #epicfail

Wow that really sucks. If I were him I would just contact them and see how to reschedule perhaps.

I just applied for the nation wide First Officer generic position so hopefully ill hear something soon. I'm in a really crappy situation and could really use this job. Good luck to your bud.

What did you fly before Flymia? There are some pretty good deals for crj Captains to transition to a320 at the moment in China.

Got placed in the pilot pool. Waiting to hear what the next step is.

Thanks to everyone providing helpful input on this thread.

Is an ATP certificate required or is an ATP written with 1500hr R-ATP minimums met acceptable for application?

I'm at 1000hrs now and I'll be reaching 1500hrs this fall but with the R-ATP flight times (200XC hrs).

No 121/135 experience or type ratings but most (75%) of my 1500hrs will be multi-turboprop time. Any shot with this background at an interview?

Edit to add: If applicants with only ATP-written are accepted, does the type rating/check ride result in an ATP cert?

Thanks.

They have hired people with 1500 hours worth of teaching in a 172 without ATPs, so you should be fine. All type rides are done to ATP standards, so when you get your type, you will also get your ATP.
