Dumont or Talon?

I am wondering the secret as well. I don't want to be annoying, but I keep sending my resume to the CP and hiring email, but no reply.
I hear it's a great gig, and I would love to have the opportunity.

I had two internal recs and it took me a long time to get hired. I think it took 3 months to get a call and about a month from initial contact. Just keep sending the resume. The DO is extremely busy and handles the hiring directly.

You have to join the Dumont circle jerk on the various forums. This is where Dumont pilots go into numerous threads and make inside jokes. Once you start doing that, you'll get an interview.

I've been sending resumes for a year and a half or so, it was a nice surprise to listen to the voicemail this afternoon.
I'm currently flying 121, but was prior 91/135. 2000TT for a Hawker 800 position, I am not typed.
Dumont would be a good fit, everyone I know there seems happy, and there's a great group of pilots with a seemingly nice schedule.

^ I was offered a job by talon earlier this year, and turned it down. The people I spoke to at the company were great, and candid in their answers. I ended up turning the job down because I've heard from the pilots that I talked to that 22 day months were normal, with them calling on your days off for extra flying. I love flying, but there's no room for work/life balance there. I get the impression that the guys are great to work with and fly with, but the company works you to death.
