Freight Runners Express Hiring!

Freight Runners Express is a part 135 company based in Milwaukee, WI. As of right now they are hiring Captains at 135 minimums for the Cessna 402B and Beech 99 aircraft. The pay is better than other 135 cargo operators and you pretty much get every weekend off. The upgrade time if you start in a Cessna 402 to the Beech 99 is on average 4-6 months. Freight Runners also has Beech 1900, King Air 350, King Air 200, and Embraer 120 aircraft. The company is rapidly expanding and is finding it hard, along with every other aviation company out there, to find pilots. If you would like more information about the company or the quality of life working there, let me know. I am currently a Captain in the Beech 99.

Any chance they'll hire a F/O with 250tt and 100ME?

PilotguyR6 03-12-2015 07:59 AM

I know they prefer 500 total time but it won't hurt to try. Send me a Pm with your information and we can talk more about it.

From the FRE website:
Beech 1900 (12 Month Contract) King Air 350 (18 Month Contract)
1st 6 Months: $ 35,880
2nd 6 months: $49,140

Are you saying the Beech 99 pay has increased from $35,880 to $44,000?

Is there a more current pay chart available somewhere?

Thank you.

Would a current FRE pilot post where the -200 and -350s are based? And current salary information if available? Thank you.

Could it have something to do with not being 135 IFR PIC qualified?

What are the chances of getting based in MKE? Looking at options for down the road in case there is no room for upgrade at my current gig.

Also what are the runs out of MKE look like? Which airplanes are based there? How many hours per month does that base sees?

HeWhoRazethAll 09-27-2015 04:27 PM

Are most flights single pilot?

Street Captains?

1350TT
180 Turbine PIC
1000 Turbine

Wasn't applying for the PIC side; hence the 600TT remark.

Maybe they can detect some kind of attitude they didn't like in your app. Did you write a cover letter?
