3 days of groundschool, 3 sim sessions and number 4 is the checkride. People will always ***** about something but I think its a good place to work.

Ah.....that is close to my employer's own P135 recurrent.
2 days of ground school, 3 (4 hr each) sim sessions with the 3rd being the checkride.

That is about the FSI standard for the King Air. That's what we did in LGB when I flew the C-12 in the Navy.

That 8 hours is for two pilots, so $7200 there at retail. I am sure they get a big discount, as they pretty much run one B350 PL21 SIM in ICT full time for one customer. Add in class time split at least 4 ways, plus travel expenses, $6k seems plausible.

Each pilot gets 8hrs as PF and 8hrs as PNF. Plus classroom and expenses. That would be 10ish + with a huge discount....

Any chance Gama moves training to the textron/cessna training centers when they come up?

Giving the size of the order for aircraft, I wouldn't be surprised. But not till those training centers are up and running

Why does how much training cost have any bearing on working at a company?
