Default What's life like at Jet Aviation?

Looks like they run planes on both Part 91 and 135. Any one on the inside with good input?

I was there for 3 years about 5 years ago. All good people. Good procedures. The problem at that time is that they lost their 135 certificate which was provided by World Jet and went to Priester Aviation's certificate. So there was 2 of every thing. 2 DO's, two CP's. I understand they have their own certificate now. Don Haliburto was the CP then and I think he is VP of ops now. Good man. Has pilots interests at heart. There was a bit of GOBN (good ole boy network) there also. You had to be in the network to get on the large cabin planes. So, this info is old but I believe the majority of people I knew there are still there and they are good people. International department was very competent.
At the time the health care was BCBS and was awful. So awful that they had to pay a second company to look after your interests. That company did an awesome job. We had to call them almost every time there was a major expense (child birth) but they fixed it. If I had to go there again my only concern would be the health insurance.
I will say it again, everyone I worked with there was supper supportive and did a great job.
Old info but FWIW.

Thanks for the spelling correction. Auto correct doesn't work on names

I would add that each managed plane had its own deal dependant on each owner. So alot of your QOL depends on your individual deal.
I think they operate the U.S. Vista Jets and that program may offer a more structured pay scheme.

Anyone know what the starting pay and schedule is like for the gulfstream 3 position. It has the same requirements as the g650 spot but i doubt the pay is the same.
