Best was to use APG
I work for a smallish 135 air ambulance, and we are acquiring our first Jet. We are going to be using APG for performance. There are several options: wondering how most get their data.
We are considering:
Airinc
Fltplan.com
APG stand-alone app
Which one do you use?
Any others to consider?
We currently use fltplan.com for flight planning.
Thanks!

If you're interested in paying the ARINC price.....they are the cats meow. But since this is their first jet, the owner may be shy about spending the kind of money ARINC calls for

Honeywell GDC is horrible. The interface is slow, clunky and not intuitive (just like their avionics). What might take me 2-3 minutes to do on FltPlan.com easily takes me 10-15 minutes to do on GDC. We constantly have technical issues with it. I've had a couple of open ticket squawks for about a year now. The tech support team always responds immediately...but your issue may never be resolved. The international flight planning portion of it works well. The APG interface is also nice but has had its share of bugs. I do not recommend Honeywell GDC.

Call Scott Dueck at APG, get set up with their iPreflight app with your aircraft profile. The app will let you do both W&B and performance, record it in a PDF doc, even email back to your home office. They also offer a filing service.

Thanks for the replies. We are using a demo of iPreflight, it is a great APP. Airinc looks great, but 14k for flight planning and data-link is pretty steep. Do you Airinc users always populate your FMS flight plan through data-link? Does that work well? All airports in the US?
