Right now, under a year. PM me if you have more questions. Happy to answer what I can.

Was just browsing the latest XOJET profile Pay Notes at APC. Most junior captains are essentially street hire? Is that accurate? I'm assuming previous PIC time in type along with other requirements....

We don’t hire street captains, for now. What you’re seeing is the month/yr they upgraded. The X has been less than a year and the 300 is still around 14-16 months I believe.

Does XO Jet generally let the candidate select the aircraft if hired? If coming in as a FO on the X, with all captain hour requirements already met, could the upgrade be less than 1 year? I'm assuming the upgrade is also based off seniority?

They put you based on company demand. Granted if you have X time, you'll get the X.

If you meet the times, then yes, they will upgrade you very quickly...There is still a process, but think the last couple guys were 8 months or so.
