JetSelect Info

Anyone have the scoop on JetSelect? Schedule, Cass (such as Netjets), Pay, Upgrade.. Thanks

Completely depends on the aircraft. Some are almost all charter, some almost all Part 91. Some 14/7, home a lot. Others are 20/10, rarely get home during rotation. A few are two pilots only with no set schedule. No CASS, No KCM, Pay varies based on locale - no set payscale. Most pilots stay with one aircraft, so upgrade depends on movement of one or two people.

the recruiter also talked about a training contract that made no sense to me. Anyone have any insight?

Seems like the training contract the previous poster mentioned would be the ugly

Looks like a big operation if you look at their website. I think they operate something like 8-9 CL300s , 5-6 CL604s and 12-14 Lear 60s scattered around the country. I believe they just added a Global.

I've met a few of their CL300 crews on the road - nice guys! I heard something like 2 weeks on and 1 week off. Not sure about their pay. With all of the airline hiring, I imagine their pay needs to be competitive to keep people. ;)

I believe this guy flies for them.

Just got an interview with Jet Select. I was hoping I could get some thoughts or first person experiences with the company, there's not a lot of info on QOL/Pay/Schedule out about them. Thanks

All depends on the aircraft you are on.

Jetselect is a management company, so you could get on an aircraft that has multiple crews, or a rotation and end up with a set schedule, or you could be on an aircraft with a single crew and be 24/7 on call. Or on an aircraft that does mostly part 91.

It is a crap shoot and I'd recommend requesting to interview with or at least talk to the crew on the aircraft they are thinking of hiring you into prior to accepting.

Pay all depends on the air frame type, your seat (CA or FO) and your experience, and is negotiable at time of hire.

The training contract sucks. 1 year pro-rated for your initial. Also they require you to sign a 6-month contract for every re-current session.

Run while you still can..... Managment will lie to you to get you in the door then your at the mercy of your part 91 owner. Don’t like how they treat you? Feel free to quit it will only cost you a pro rated amount of 50k depending on how long your willing to suffer... Try Netjets or flex Jet or Gama Aviation. This is a pilot economy no reason to sign a 50k contract. It’s only there for Jetselect managment to abuse you.

Got on with them in 2018, yes the only ugly is the training contract but since I live less than 30 mins from the airport I knew I would be with the company for a while. Am on a managed A/C, so far really good, 3 pilot rotation so we do 20/10 I end up flying like 8 days a month. Pay depends on where the aircraft is based but it’s negotiable but I can honestly say it’s better than XO and Flex Jet Pilots pick their hotel , company card and a decent per Diem, but could be better. Company is ok nothing bad to report, MX is spectacular I must say. Company pays 500 towards iPad, but CAE gives you one also. If lay over is 72hrs and more rental car is an option. PM me for more details

Be cautious. While I hope everything stays that way for you. One day behind closed doors if a pilot finds greener pastures and it become 2 crews only. You may find working conditions as a whole different experience. The company nor the A/C owner won’t park a plane for 10 days or 1 for that matter if there’s money to be made. And the DO and CP will care less then that ugly contract will come into play when you don’t see your family for weeks it won’t be as Rosey of a picture as you paint. Remember 135 rule on guaranteed days of 13 in a quarter. Jetselect rules are a guide line not a guarantee like they promise in an interview. PM for further questions.

Just got a connection invite from them on Linkedin.
What could POSSIBLY go wrong ?

Thanks for the info. Would need a pretty good reason to leave my current gig, and what has been discussed above does not even come close to providing
it.
