Which "core" fleet types are they hiring into these days? CJ2/3 or XLS likely?

I got the phone screening today from pilot recruitment. They told me to expect an interview invite via email from HR soon. He said they were primarily hiring into the XL.

It was with a pilot from recruiting. It mainly consisted of a resume review, elaborating in some of the info. They ask what you know about the company, what type ratings you have, would you be willing to go to training for another type and incur a 2 year (pro-rated) training contract. We finished up with him asking when I was available for an interview. He said I should hear from HR to schedule an interview within a week. It was pretty relaxed.

If you are considering DPJ ask about recurrent training contracts. I was at DPJ on the X and there was an annual recurrent contract of about $15000 pro rated over 12 months. I was fortunate to get out of DPJ just as I was scheduled to go to recurrent.

There haven't been recurrent training contracts for years. You only have one when you get hired. Even if you move to a different fleet after you get hired, you don't have to sign another one.

That being said, they do need to get rid of the first one since no other company at their level has one.
