Never closes. They just don’t reply until they decide to pick your resume out of the nearly 2000 FO resumes they already have. Yeah, that’s cruel, but that is how it is there.
Send it in updated when you add more hours. Go to a base, meet a pilot, that might help.

For PC12 they seem to be hurting for PICs.
Last week it was hanging out in Ameriflight's hanger at DFW.

Can I ask, if I read your post correctly, you are only away approximately one night and home most evenings? Is this correct for the Atlanta base?

Actually, it is closed right now unless you have an internal rec. No FO resumes or apps taken through the website at the moment. The window will eventually open back up, but when is anybody's guess.

I haven't been to Atlanta, but if it's like most bases, it's about 50-50. You can let scheduling know your preference, but you will do overnights.

Does the schedule work for a commuter? Say someone who would be wanting to commute from RDU to one of the east coast bases? I tried to look back in the pages and saw where Boutique has CASS privileges. Just curious if it is doable or worth it? Been instructing since May looking for a change from the 172. Thanks!

Any opportunities for part-time pilots? Would like to stay in professional aviation but not interested in full-time necessarily.

The only part time pilots are a couple super super senior pilots.

Default Hours a month

For any PICs:

If I were hired today, how long can I expect to sit reserve for? Also, once off reserve, how many hours are you flying a month?

Thanks.

First month, after your checkride, it will be 30-50 hours as they work you into a schedule and you gain familiarity with the plane and a particular outstation. Once you have mastered that route, they begin to send you elsewhere. 60-70+, regardless of reserve or not.
