Materials received in training?
Browse this website and back it up by reading Section 7 of the POH
What other materials will we receive?
Can anyone recommend a good/accurate PC-12 version for the Microsoft FS-X flight simulator?

You'll get all the materials needed to get through ground school when you get going in class. Get the computer based training done BEFORE class starts. There is a POH available online that you can reference through class. In fact, virtually all study materials are online so you can reference them any time. They will be available through the employee website. MaxMar's references are good ones. Unless you have someone with legacy PC12 experience to work with you on FS-X, skip it.

They gave me the ILS KIDA approach to review(prior to phone call). Know basic VFR cloud clearance and speed restrictions in various airspace. IFR max holding speeds. Thunderstorm avoidance distance. Know systems of an aircraft you’ve flown recently as they’ll ask some technical questions regarding this. Know 91.175, and other various IFR regulations. Part 135 reg. Knowledge isn’t necessarily a requirement.

Hiring PIC?
I’m 17 with 728 hours, I hit all the Part 135 PIC mins including over 150 hours Instrument except total time. I will have 1200 hours when I turn 18, in September, will get commercial on my bday. Happily will sign contract as can’t go to airlines till 21. Are they still hiring street captains? Will I have a good chance of making it on? Thanks.

It shouldn’t be a problem. Turnover is high.

Helicopter turned fixed wing
Hello everyone,
Very interested in this company and becoming an FO. I have 975TT and my CFI/II in helicopters. Out of the 975 TT, 156TT are in fixed wing. I have my commercial license in ASEL/AMEL, and my instrument. Would having lower fixed wing time be a problem? Thanks for the help!

They need captains, get to 1200 and get instrument current if you aren’t. Met all other part 135 mins. Good chance you’ll get a call.
