Default Air Choice One SIC log hours?

Wondering about the so many time asked question about if flying for ACO as SIC that I can log the hours and count toward ATP, and 135 minimums. .

Which Op Spec would that be? If ACO is always flying with passengers on every leg while under IFR, an SIC is required unless they have A015, give their PICs 135.297 (g) checks, and use the autopilot. If all of those conditions are met an SIC will never be required (Nichols interpretation). If they fly any 91 legs then no SIC time can be logged under this rule.

If they have Op Spec A062 then they have an approved SIC PDP program and the time is 100% loggable and legal regardless of IFR or VFR or 91 or 135 or passengers or no passengers.

There’s a couple scenarios that can meet somewhere in the middle.
