Responsibilities as a 135 Pilot?

As part of one's responsibilities as a 135 pilot, I understand that flight planning is one, loading the catering and luggage is another. Is toilet cleaning and scrubbing part of the deal, too, or does it depend on the operator?

There's an easier part 135 operation to look into. Cargo. Normal pic duties, weather, w/b, fuel, flight plan etc hit the D button fly done. Don't have to worry about pleasing passengers who have too much money. :D

Yes I've cleaned potties and yes I've cleaned airplane cabins.
Why? Because I have pride in my job and like a clean airplane for my customers.
After every flight I'd use leather wipes on all the seats.
Why? Because I like to take care of the stuff that's been entrusted to me.
If that's beneath you then 135 is not for you.

You haven't lived until you've forced a turd down the lav hole with a ballpoint pen.

The art of pulling the "honey pot" without spilling it in the cabin truly makes you a great 135 pilot lol.

Not so much that it's beneath me, I just find it gross is all.

But I have heard from people in the business that duties are different from one 135 to the next.

I have a friend that get things done like this. His name is Jackson, his friend Benjamin can really make things happen!

Your duties can be whatever you're assigned by your operator. I've had 135 jobs in which I did nothing but fly, and others in which I did aircraft maintenance, cleaned airplanes, updated jepps, catered, serviced the lav, even picked up passengers and dropped them off by ground vehicle, as well as fueled airplanes, arranged cars and hotels for passengers, provided line training services and check airman services for other pilots, and so forth. I've had 135 jobs in which I handled air traffic inside temporary flight restrictions and coordinated establishing TFR's.

What you do as a 135 pilot really depends on what your employer expects done.
